Delta Touch2O faucets (model numbers ending in T, such as 9192T and 9193T) add a solenoid and a battery box to an ordinary DST faucet. The valve cartridge is unchanged (RP50587, RP60114, RP91902 and so on), so the standard cartridge guide applies with the solenoid left in place. This page covers only the electronics, from Delta’s sheet 106559.

Power
1.5 volt alkaline only. Current (Gen 3) faucets use six AA cells in battery box RP78389, lasting about a year; older packs used C cells for about three years. AC adapters are EP102157 or EP73954.
The LED
- Solid blue: water under 80 F. Magenta: 80 to 110 F. Red: over 110 F.
- Three red flashes before each open or close: replace the batteries.
- Constant red flashing: batteries first, then the solenoid kit.
- No light: check the spout connector RP53233, then batteries, then the spout.
- The faucet shuts off automatically after 4 minutes.
Solenoid
The current pull-down solenoid assembly is EP92546 (EP92546XX for BL, MW, SP, and RB finishes). Delta says to replace it only if the sticker on the old solenoid reads X00090218, X00074948, X00070887, or X00064463. The older grey solenoid EP74852 is discontinued. The battery box lid ships only with the solenoid assembly. EP92546 at DeltaFaucet.com
Manual bypass
Delta’s sheet has a section on temporary manual bypass of the electronics, which in practice means removing the solenoid and connecting the hose directly so the faucet works as a manual DST. Confirm the current wording on sheet 106559 before doing this; the text was not legible in the copies available.
