Elmbrook is K-R22968 (K-R26585 is the Numista tub and shower). It is on the standard 25 mm GP1093674 valve.
Before you start. Shut off the two small valves under the sink by turning them clockwise, then open the faucet to confirm the water has stopped. Plug the drain so small parts cannot fall in. You will need a screwdriver, an adjustable wrench or pliers, and for most handles a hex key (an Allen wrench, sold as an inexpensive set at any hardware store). If a shutoff valve will not turn or starts to drip, or anything is corroded and will not loosen with moderate force, stop and see when to call a plumber. New to this? Taking it apart
- Pop the plug button and loosen the set screw (2.5 mm hex on current models). Lift the handle.
- Unscrew the bonnet by hand.
- Loosen the mounting nut with a large adjustable wrench and lift the valve out.
Repairs for this faucet
- Drip from the spout: replace the valve
- Spray buttons are push and stay (Kohler product expert); if a button will not hold, the head is replaced as a unit
- Low pressure: Kohler’s elimination test
